Russ Ginsberg was recommended to us from several different vendors, so from the beginning we had a feeling that he would be a wonderful d.j. He turned out to be exactly what we had hoped for and more. He kept the guests dancing, laughing, and entertained.
Prior to the wedding he took the time to get to know Jason and me in order to plan for a wedding reception that fit us and our guests. He was flexible as lineups and song requests changed over time...which helped to put me at ease. He even worked with us to plan a surprise wedding dance with a fake equipment malfunction that blew our guests away. He was able to get all guests on the dance floor throughout the night by playing songs that got people from all generations up and dancing.
We could not have asked for a better d.j.

He actually took a lot of stress off of me on the day of the wedding because he stayed involved with the timing of the ceremony, cocktail hour, food, cake cutting, etc.
He was flexible and was able to adjust our timeline on the spot as needed. He adapted music and personality to the crowd and did a great job reading his audience. He handles everything in stride, even unruly guests.
Russ also did his homework before the wedding and was very thorough in finding out exactly what we needed and what our tastes were. I highly recommend Russ.

This is hands down the BEST one you will ever find. Don't even Waste anymore time looking for anyone else. Russ Ginsberg was not only my DJ for my April wedding, but he became a good friend of mine over the year long relationship we accumulated after discussing my favorite subject. MUSIC! So I consider myself a musician to en extent in the fact that I LOVE music and I play many instruments and if there was one thing I would be a Bridezilla about, this would be it. However, Russ knew exactly what I was looking for and my guests are still talking about how amazing the set list was. I have been to many weddings and I HATE when the dance floor is empty. mine was PACKED the entire night until the staff started cleaning up at the end of the night. Russ was way ahead of schedule on time and he is Genuinely the nicest person my husband and I have ever met. Do yourself a favor and hire Russ as your DJ/MC because you will not be disappointed. He pumped up my bridal party before announcements also..because if you are anything like me I have pretty quiet friends that needed some help when becoming the center of attention. Russ if you are reading this, THANK YOU SO MUCH ! You made our wedding the amazing night it was.
Being from Illinois and planning a destination wedding made me very inquisitive of the service and who to entrust with my daughters wedding. I had the pleasure of meeting with several vendors in the Key largo area as we made a quick trip about 10 months before the wedding.
Russ was absolutely awesome! Not only did he provide excellent service but has a personality that allows your guests to have the time of their life. He provided not only the reception music but the music for the wedding.
He was timely with all communication and very professional. He is definitely the one you want doing your wedding!
Russ was phenomenal! From the very beginning he made planning a breeze and instantly put us at ease. He has so much experience, he knows exactly what questions to ask and has wonderful suggestions to help you make your day perfect. I didn't worry for a second that he wouldn't follow through with exactly what we discussed. And from a couple that doesn't dance, we literally danced all night!
We warned him that our guests might make some strange requests (and they did!) but he never stumbled and kept the perfect songs coming. He was very in tune to what his audience wanted to hear and tailored it perfectly to them. I was blown away and so were our guests. Everyone told us how impressed they were with him.
